SES crews are out in full-force for storm recovery.

SES volunteers have been working overtime to clean up after floods in Queensland's southern inland.

Volunteers responded to more than 60 calls on Thursday night, with 20 houses damaged at Warwick, a landslide on the Toowoomba escarpment and trees blown down onto roads and a Wilsonton house.

Director Bob Bundy says SES crews swung into action in their own region after spending most of the week helping out in Brisbane's worst affected areas.

"Some of those crews were actually on their way home last night [to] Chinchilla and Stanthorpe, and tired as they were and worn out as they were, they were actually doing jobs in Laidley and Warwick," he said.

"The Toowoomba crews had just got home and they were out again last night, so [they are] very dedicated volunteers."

A group of low-security prisoners from Rockhampton will travel to Brisbane tomorrow to help with the storm clean-up.

Twenty-two inmates from the Capricornia Correctional Centre will be sent to work in flood-affected areas of Brisbane, Ipswich and Rosewood.

A crew of 13 female prisoners from the Warwick women's work camp was today sent to Ipswich to help with sandbagging.
