Top End Paralympian 'must move to make London Games'

Posted September 22, 2008 15:35:00

Darwin's Paralympic bronze medallist has the 2012 London Games in her sights.

Australian women's wheelchair basketballer Melanie Hall returned home from Beijing on the weekend and says the preparation for the next Paralympics has started.

"Absolutely, I want to re-live the experience and be a better player in London and hopefully get more court time as well."

The bronze medallist says to improve as a player she'll have to travel interstate to gain more experience.

"What I've done to this point is great, I'm you know, a very fit player but I actually need to play the game that I actually compete in and to do that I need to be interstate."

The Beijing Games was Hall's first Paralymics.
